Directory Updates. Please review your entry in the online Find Play Therapists Directory and advise Carol Guerrero of any incorrect or incomplete information by July 25.

Tidbits. 1) Play therapy to treat autism was referenced by actors on the daytime TV show "Days of our Lives" (now APT knows where to air its membership ads). 2) Beware the e-scam message recently sent to APT members regarding a couple coming to the US and seeking a play therapist (when money and personal information is even tactfully requested, hit the delete button)!

Foundation Round Table. Are other evidence-based practices including but not identifying play as a variable contributing to treatment effectiveness? Mining Report. Keep abreast of emerging mega-trends and best practices by scanning the two-page July mining report entitled Neuroscience and Play Therapy by Richard Gaskill, EdD, LCP, RPT-S, Wichita, KS. Gaskill and Bruce Perry, PhD, MD, will present an all-day workshop on Oct. 15 during the 2008 APT Conference.
