Dr. Duffy has served in past years on local boards for the Save the Youth, Inc., Samaritan Shelter, Ministerial Association, and local committees such as SPF and CIT for the Worcester County Health Dept., and the Economic Development Committee (O.C.). Further, she served on committees for Diversity and Mission (rewrite) while attending Regent University and attended meetings of the Pocomoke Christian Women Club. Dr. Duffy has a history in the performing arts, and while pursuing undergrad studies in Dance, was employed as a work study student teaching keyboards, has taught and played in several local church services as a church organist. She continues today serving once a month, facilitating a study, playing the piano for a local senior center and upon request at other nursing homes .

Dr. Duffy integrates expressive arts and movement in her counseling practice to augment Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Family Systems. Further, she has memberships in A.C.A.; Md C.A.; A.A.C.C.; Int'l C.I.T.; I.C.I.S.M.; I.A.T.P.: A.P.F.M.; and Mediate.com and participates in local committees to serve in her community.
