Amy is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California and Texas and a board approved supervisor for both licensures. Her 14 years of experience focuses on relationship-based psychotherapy, working with children, adolescents, teens, adults, couples and families. Amy has experience helping clients with anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, grief and loss, divorce, premarital counseling, blended family work, parent-child relationship work, family therapy, parenting, play and art therapy. Before private practice, Amy was Founding Executive Director of the Nick Finnegan Counseling Center in Houston, Texas. Amy was also the Clinical Program Manager for a 0-5 Year-Old program at a non-profit mental health agency in Sacramento. Amy started her counseling work at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston during her graduate work at the University of Houston where she earned a Master’s of Education in Counseling Psychology.
