I received my MSW at Rutgers University and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am also a Certified Child Life Specialist and Registered Play Therapist. I have been working with children and families for over 9 years, and have a background in Early Intervention and working with children who have a parent with cancer. I have a private practice in Denville, NJ working with children, adults and families. I have a special interest in working with children and adults who are affected by grief and loss.
Each summer I facilitate the bereavement-specific art and craft groups at Camp Clover, which is a week long bereavement camp for children who have lost a loved one. I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers, Child Life Council and Association for Play Therapy.
I have experience with and enjoy presenting workshops for clients, professionals and students, both in-person and through webinars. I am part-time lecturer at Rutgers University, teaching Clinical Social Work: Children for MSW students, introducing them to child life and play therapy. I am also a clinical supervisor, working with LSWs to achieve their LCSW requirements.
