More Information
Current President of the San Diego Chapter of the California Association for Play Therapy.

As a Child & Family Therapist I provide psychotherapy services to children, adolescents and their families. I am very passionate about working with children & Play Therapy!

Through Play Therapy & Sandtray Therapy I help children, teens and families explore a full range of thoughts and emotions at their own pace.

Children are more limited in their ability to express themselves verbally, but through play they can show what they think, feel and how they experience and understand the world in which they live. Just as adults talk things out, children play things out, and my training as a play therapist allows me to understand and speak the language of children, giving me access into how they view the world around them. Since play is the natural means of expression for children, toys become their words and play therapy becomes a safe and effective form of therapy for them to process their traumas and learn healthier coping skills.

Mostly I work from a psychodynamic, child centered, & attachment focused orientation, however I utilize a, integrative approach to therapy and play therapy based on each individual's needs.
