More Information
As a Child & Family Therapist I provide psychotherapy services to children, adolescents and their families. I am very passionate about working with children & Play Therapy!

Children are more limited in their ability to express themselves verbally, but through play they can show what they think, feel and how they experience and understand the world in which they live. Just as adults talk things out, children play things out, and my training as a play therapist allows me to understand and speak the language of children, giving me access into how they view the world around them. Since play is the natural means of expression for children, toys become their words and play therapy becomes a safe and effective form of therapy for them to process their traumas and learn healthier coping skills.

I utilize a Psychodynamic and Attachment lens to better understand the children and families I work with, meaning I look closely at early childhood history and experiences. I utilize a holistic, integrative approach to therapy, always taking into consideration the physical, emotional, cognitive and spiritual needs of each client.
