20 years of Social Work experience with children and families in various settings such as: foster care, residential treatment, group homes; elementary, middle and high schools; and hospitals. I have extensive experience with training and supervising MFTs and MSWs/LCSW trainees, associates, interns and licensed therapists who are interested in treating high risk populations. I specialize in treating trauma reactions in children who have experienced child abuse and other forms of trauma.
I am a continuing education provider for the Association for Play Therapy and provide play therapy training, consultation and supervision.
I am a teaching faculty and field liaison at the California State University at Los Angeles in the School of Social Work. For the past 15 years, I have served as the clinical supervisor two family center programs in the Culver City Unified School District where we serve at-risk youth and undeserved families.
