More Information
I have been practicing for 9 years in the USA, and I am fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese.
I have successfully worked with young children, adolescents, adults, and families to resolve many issues; including anxiety, depression, ADHD, disruptive behavior, attachment issues, trauma, phobias, and relationship difficulties. I have no doubt that by providing a safe compassionate space and effective tools, patients are able to solve problems and find answers.
As a mental health counselor, I frame my treatment approach to meet my client’s individual needs. I have effectively used Play therapy, Trauma focus – CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), EMDR (a therapeutic method to accelerate the treatment of reprocessing painful traumatic memories. and Person-Centered Therapy.
Using an individualized approach grants clients to work through difficult emotional issues and helps with understanding the cause of distress, while developing a concrete plan for treatment, and reliving the distress.
