More Information
I work in two environments: as a substance use treatment counselor and in my private practice, where I work primarily with children and adults dealing with trauma (acute or chronic), usually experienced in childhood.

I am fortunate to have an ongoing collaborative relationship with the professor who taught both the advanced diagnosis course and the play therapy course during my graduate school program. Our work focuses mainly on the use of Flash animation in educational and therapeutic settings. I also sometimes provide classroom assistance.

I am also a licensed massage therapist with nearly twenty years of professional experience, working primarily with traumatic injury, somatized psycho-emotional trauma, congenital conditions (e.g., infant torticollis), and acute orthopaedic injury. It was my work in this profession that led me back to school to expand my competencies. I have a particular interest in the value of using craniosacral therapy (Upledger) with EMDR, to help remove physical residue after successful EMDR.
