Courtney Chandler earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology from Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas in 2012. Courtney continued her education at Friends University in Wichita, Kansas, where she earned a Masters of Science Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2014. During her time at Friends University, Courtney received play therapy training from the Kansas City Play Therapy Institute. Courtney is dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families who struggle with various issues including anxiety, depression, low self-worth, trauma, grief and relational difficulties, and aims to promote mental health awareness and education throughout the community. Courtney has received additional training in Sand Tray Therapy, Couples Communication, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). Courtney is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), and a member of the Association for Play Therapy (APT). Courtney is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Registered Play Therapist in the state of Oklahoma and currently works for Sunbeam Family Services, a non-profit agency in Oklahoma City, providing services to low-socioeconomic clients across the lifespan.
