I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist in PR with over 35 years experience in Private practice and for the las 17 years providing services to victims of crime. I have Masters degree in Psychology, and Theology, as well as in Global Mental Health and Doctoral degree in Practical Theology . All of the above at accredited universities ie. NYU, Harvard University, Eastern Baptist Theological seminary, Interamerican University of PR.
I am the Executive director of The Psychotraumatology Institute of Puerto Rico. We operate the Center for Specialized Assistance for Crime Victims. This is funded by the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA funds). Our participants include adults and children. We evaluate and treat Trauma victims and their relatives with a trauma informed organizational orientation and empirically based treatment.
