2020 Educational Series Continuing Education

Continuing Education


The APT 2020 Educational Series is co-sponsored by The Association for Play Therapy and The Institute for Continuing Education. Continuing education credit is awarded on a session-by-session basis, with full attendance for each session attended. Comprehensive CE information and a complete list of workshop overviews and learning objectives are available on the registration page of each training day. Play Therapy: The Institute for Continuing Education is approved by The Association for Play Therapy to sponsor continuing education specific to play therapy. The Institute maintains responsibility for the program. APT Approved Provider 98-040. Due to COVID-19 health concerns, these online events have been approved by APT for CONTACT CE hours.     

Psychology: The Institute for Continuing Education is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Institute maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

Social Work: Application for social work continuing education credits has been submitted. The APT website will be updated regarding accreditation.

Counseling: For counselors seeking credit, The Institute for Continuing Education will submit a co-sponsorship application to NBCC for this program. The APT website will be updated regarding accreditation.

Attendance Monitoring and Post Test Requirement: In order to monitor attendance, ensure participation, and receive CE credit, attendees are required to maintain their video camera "ON" throughout the duration of the workshop and complete a post test.  All workshops will be recorded for attendance record keeping purposes.
