National Play Therapy Week is February 3rd through the 9th. This is a time we go above and beyond in our efforts to promote the value of play, play therapy, credentialed play therapists, and the Association for Play Therapy. There is more evidence now than ever that children need play in order to live healthy lives, and play therapy is improving children's mental health and overall well-being all over the world. We know it; you know it; now let's get out there and make sure everyone knows it!
APT wants to hear your story! What is your favorite play therapy memory? When were you first exposed to play therapy? What has driven you to pursue play therapy in your career? Whether an established play therapist or new to the field, your unique experiences are what make the Association great! Submit a short video (20-30 seconds) that shares your personal play therapy journey and it might be featured during National Play Therapy Week.
