Submission of Transcript Review

Credentialing applicants must document completed graduate coursework in the six (6) required core areas listed below, in one of the following general practice disciplines: counseling, marriage & family therapy, social work, psychology, or psychiatry.

1. Child Development
2. Theories of Personality
3. Principles of Psychotherapy
4. Child and Adolescent Psychopathology
5. Cultural and Social Diversity
   
6. Legal, Ethical, and Professional Issues

See Section 02, Table 2.1 of the Credentialing Standards for the Registered Play Therapist^TM for possible graduate course titles and descriptions for each content area.

If you wish to ensure that your graduate coursework meets the required core content areas, please complete the form below to request a transcript review:

• List the specific courses that you believe met each of the core areas indicated above
• Attach a copy of your graduate transcript(s) issued by an institution of higher education
• Submit the non-refundable fee:

Additional information such as a course syllabus may be requested to help in identifying the course content. Please allow 2-3 weeks from receipt of payment and transcript(s) for the review to be completed. Results of the review will be sent by email.
